The Mine d’Or beach in Pénestin
La Mine d’Or beach is one of the most beautiful spots in Southern Brittany. Its copper-colored coastline and waters offer an idyllic setting for swimming and sunbathing. For those looking for a bit of adventure, there’s a large rock formation offshore that’s perfect for snorkeling or scuba diving. You’ll also find restaurants and bars nearby to make your beach day even longer.
Pont Mahé beach in Assérac
Pont Mahé beach is one of Assérac’s landmarks. This large sandy beach offers breathtaking views over land and sea, as well as a wide range of activities such as swimming and sailing. An ideal spot for families with little ones, with sun-warmed pools where children can safely play. It’s a popular spot for kitesurfers in particular. It’s not unusual to come across a few when conditions are right for windsurfing and/or kite surfing.
Sorlock beach in Mesquer-Quimiac
Opposite Pen-Bé Bay, Sorlock beach is famous for its serene atmosphere and peaceful setting. It’s an ideal spot if you’re looking to escape city life and enjoy a little peace and quiet by the sea. The large expanse of sand allows visitors to find a place to relax while admiring the view over the bay or strolling along the shoreline.
Benoît beach in La Baule
Finally, there’s Plage Benoît in La Baule, famous for its bay, recognized as the most beautiful in Europe!
This place has something for everyone, a fine sandy beach, an embankment for long bike or rollerblade rides, beach activities for children, leisure activities with towed buoys, jet skiing… It’s a lively place, with shops on Avenue de Gaulle, bars, restaurants, a casino…
