The Village of Kerhinet
In the heart of the Parc Naturel de la Brière, the Village de Kerhinet is an ancient village of weavers and farmers, entirely rebuilt in its former glory: stone and earth for the walls, peat for fuel and reeds for the roof.

Kerhinet boasts 18 authentically restored thatched cottages. In one of the eighteen thatched cottages, you can visit the Musée du Chaume, dedicated to the thatcher’s trade and typical traditional Brière houses. Every Thursday in summer, a market featuring local produce is held in the Village de Kerhinet.
