Rochefort-en-Terre was built in the 12th century on the heights of the sandstone plateau. Since 2016, it has been one of France’s favorite towns, thanks in no small part to its flowery setting. Ideal for sightseeing, the commune also offers other superb sites to discover:rue Saint Michel, place du Puits, the Naïa museum, the château… What’s more, Rochefort-en-Terre is less than 50 minutes from Camping de la Baie, a 4-star establishment that’s the perfect place to stay when you visit the region.

La Roche-Bernard

La Roche-Bernard is one of Morbihan’s characterful little towns. Nestled between the towns of Nantes and Vannes, this surprisingly pleasant stopover lies on the banks of the Vilaine River. It’s the best place to admire the sunset. Its former commercial port is now a pretty marina, a must-see. This little town has many more treasures to offer, such as the narrow streets of the old quarter, the arts and crafts workshops, the Place du Bouffay… And from La Roche-Bernard, it takes less than 25 minutes to reach the Baie campsite.
